Silly Sleeper

It has been so fun to be home with my boys on maternity leave.  It's a lot of work and at times frustrating but I have enjoyed nearly every second with my babies.  I love them so much and they make me so happy!  I'm constantly amazed at what they do and say and a smile on their faces means more to me than anything!

Tyke has been especially fun to watch the past couple of months.  He's a little goofball and has a "class clown" personality.  He loves to tease and giggles a lot.  I love it!  He's a good kid and luckily can entertain himself well while I'm tending to Luke.  Tyke has spent a lot of time in his room playing with his toys and having a good time making big messes.  I'd say that 99% of the time he refuses to clean up and I get to do it but occasionally he will listen and pick his toys up.  The kid is like a tornado and can make his room a mess in seconds! 

Every afternoon, usually around noon or so, the banging of toys being thrown stops and things get really quiet in his room.  I wait a few extra minutes before going to check on the Roni-man and I always find him asleep on his bed in the silliest positions!  I've been able to document a few of his funny positions.  It always cracks me up to see him passed out with a toy by his side or a book underneath him, with his feet stuck between the bars of his bed.  After snapping a picture I rearrange him and place a blanket on top of him.  He will nap for a good two hours most of the time.  I check on him often and can honestly say he's a wiggle worm because he's always in a new position.  I love this silly sleeper of ours!
