Really?!

Luke, climbing into our bed tonight said, "mom, I goin to sleep in you's bed"

I said, "no you're not, you're sleeping in your bed tonight!"

He layed down on Daddy's pillow and replied, "Yeah, we see about dat!" And then, he quickly fell to sleep.

Musical Beds

Me trying to get Tyke to sleep in his own bed tonight:

Me: Tyke, your bed is way comfy tonight!

Tyke: I know! You can sleep in it if you want! I’ll go and snuggle Dad.

And up he went and left me!

Wasting Money

I always tell the boys when they don't finish their meals that they are literally wasting mommy and daddy's money.  Tyke somewhat gets it, Luke doesn't care.  Last night at dinner we had chicken tacos and tortilla chips.  Luke loaded his plate with so many chips there was no way he would be able to eat them all.  Tyke tattled on him and said, "Mom! Luke is wasting your money!"  I looked at Luke and jokingly asked, "Luke! Why would you do that?!"  And Luke, without skipping a beat, very sassily replied, "TUZ I HATE MONIES!"
