Bye 2014, Hello 2015!

We had no plans for New Years Eve and figured we would just stay home and treat it like any other day.  Stephanie sent a text out looking for a babysitter for her kids and since we were doing nothing I volunteered us to take them.  Since they were coming and we would need to do dinner for a crowd I called and invited Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Terry to come over.  Tiffany was at their house when I called so I invited her and Dave too.  Once I figured out how many people were coming I ordered pizza and Grandma and Grandpa picked it up.  For saying it was a last minute party we sure had a lot of good food!  We had pizza from Lotsa Motsa, a veggie tray and chips and salsa.  We watched movies (Rio and Planes Fire & Rescue).  The kids had fun playing and running and screaming the entire night. Seth and Stephanie were done with their date night and came to join our party around 10 p.m.  The kids finally calmed down and had a hard time staying awake for the big count down.  We had to wake up the girls so they could watch the final ten minutes of the big New York celebration.  After calling it a happy new year we called it a night!  We had a lot of fun and we're so glad we got to spend it with family!  Happy New Year 2015!

On the first day of the new year we stayed home most of the day and played around the house.  Chad bundled Tyke up in his new snow gear and took him outside to play in the snow.  He loaded him up in his ice fishing sled and pulled him around the yard.  Tyke had a blast and it took some major convincing to get him back in the house.
