For lunch we had a variety of yummy soups and salads and treats. After lunch we played a quick game of Minute to Win It, kids versus adults. It was pretty entertaining and there were lots of laughs had by all. Shortly after finishing up with the games Santa Clause showed up! Tyke wasn't too impressed with him. He was more interested in playing games on Aunt Jenny's phone. Santa made the rounds visiting most of the kids before sitting down to do business. He stopped and talked to Tyke and Tyke just looked at him like he was a mad man!
When it finally came time for Tyke to sit on Santa's lap he was having none of it! He wasn't scared at all but he put up a fight none the less. He wanted to keep playing with the toys all of the other kids had got. It would have worked out better for him if he could have been one of the first kids to visit Santa, instead of being one of the last.
Luke's turn with Santa came right after Tyke's. Of course he's small enough that it didn't phase him. Santa was so cute with Luke and talked to him in the cutest way. It was adorable!
We had a great time and it was a great turn out considering it was in Mona and most of the Clayson family lives north of Provo. We always have so much fun when we get together and it's nice to keep in touch like we do. Yay for Christmas parties, and yay for the boys first visit with Santa this year!
