After moving cows Saturday morning we rushed home to hurry and get the camp trailer packed for some camping! We didn't really have a plan for the weekend but things fell in place perfectly. We left home around 6 p.m. and headed out west to find a spot. We didn't take any chances and camped at the first spot we found available. The boys were so excited to finally be camping! Tyke has begged for weeks to go camping but life has just been too busy for it to work out. Usually by the end of May we have a lot of camping trips under our belt but this year, Memorial weekend camping made only our second trip out! We were excited that Cody and Jenny and fam were able to go camping with us, and Nana spent quite a bit of time out visiting too. Our camp spot was very green and grassy but not very smooth for big wheel riding. Tyke somehow managed to talk each of us into pushing him around camp on his big wheel. Luke tried his hardest to move around on his but tipped over on the mounds of grass pretty much every time. We had a great time camping and spent most of our time eating, napping, visiting, walking, and roasting marshmallows for s'mores and watching movies. We came home Monday morning and had a quick clean up of the trailer (our cleaning system just keeps getting better and better! Go us!) It was a great weekend and we can't wait to go again!
