Chad got all of the firewood split and stacked so he no longer needs to stress about it. I got our first batch of chili sauce canned and canned some brown sugar carrots too! (Strangely, I'm having so much fun using my new pressure cooker the boys got me for mother's day. So far we've bottled jalapenos, chicken, chili sauce and carrots. Still on the list: more chili sauce, salsa, pickles, ham and bean soup and pork.)
Tyke was mostly good while we worked away. He played with his toys, watched cartoons and got into trouble a time or two. He gave us three good blowouts to clean up equaling four outfit changes, a load of laundry and a shower in the utility sink. He also learned to stretch and army crawl his way to the entertainment center and opened up the doors and found a few DVDs. They made good chew toys for him until I took them away. He was whiny a lot which resulted in a lot of breaks from canning and stacking for us. We were glad for them!
It was a good day and we feel very accomplished to have gotten so much done!
