Weekend Fun!

Chad got invited to go deep sea fishing in California courtesy of his work.  He was supposed to fly to San Diego but opted to drive down with his coworker instead.  They left super early Saturday morning, fished all day Sunday, and drove home on Monday.  It was a short trip with lots of driving and unfortunately they caught no fish because they both ended up being sea sick the entire boat ride.

While Chad was gone Tyke and I went and did a little shopping with Stephanie, Callie Jo and Bowdee.  Callie Jo was such a great helper for me and pushed the stroller and made sure that Tyke was always entertained.  I love how close Tyke and his cousins are already!  Anyway, we found some pretty good deals and probably spent way too much money but it was good retail therapy.  Tyke was a good boy most of the day but on the way home he had had enough and scrame from Spanish Fork to Mona.  It made for a looong drive!

We missed Chad so much while he was gone!  Thank goodness for Skype!  Chad talked to us every night before bed time.  Tyke loved it and so did we.  It helped a lot to get to see each other while we were so far apart.  Overall it was a great weekend!
