Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day, wow!  I can't believe it!  I honestly never thought I'd be a mommy, with all my medical problems and our struggles with getting pregnant.  It almost seemed impossible and now here I am, mommy to the most adorable little guy ever!  I feel seriously so blessed to have Tyke and Chad in my life.  I LOVE BEING A MOM AND WIFE and wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.  Tyke makes me so happy and is the best baby ever!

I had such a great day and got spoiled by my boys!  After a yummy breakfast and opening gifts we loaded up and headed out to go and visit all of the mother's in our life.

First visit was to Grandma Jean's house!  We had a great visit but Tyke was pretty sober.  By the time we left he was all smiles though.  We worked our way up to Spanish Fork to a family BBQ at Grandma Clayson's place.  Pretty much the entire Clayson family showed up (we were missing only 2 people and their families).  We had a good visit with Grandma Clayson and Nana and the rest of the fam.

After family pictures and saying our goodbyes we headed to Mona to visit with my mom and Grandma Gaye.  The Kay family had all gotten together at the city park for a BBQ.  We were too late for the BBQ part (we knew we would be) but quite a few family members were still there so we got to visit lots.

It was such good day!  We're so thankful for all of the mommy's in our lives and lucky that we got to visit them all on this special day.  I don't know what I would do without our family.  My mom, sisters, grandma's, mother-in-law and sister-in-laws are all so special to me and my little family.  They have all helped me out so much and been such great examples of what a good mom is.  I'm grateful for them all and hope to be great like them!  Happy Mother's Day 2013!
