Family Pics

My parents are getting more and more difficult to buy for when it comes to holidays and birthdays.  This year for Christmas we nailed it!  We decided to buy a photo session for the entire family, followed by a pizza party!  We scheduled to do it all the Saturday following Christmas with Livingston Photography (she did Tyke's newborns and 6 month photos, she's great!).  It worked perfect because everyone was in town!  We got a little nervous that things were going to fail, as the flu bug made it's rounds through out the family (By New Year's Eve it had hit all but a couple of our family of 27!).  Things worked out though.  Everyone felt great except for Trayson, who had an ear infection.  The weather was perfect!  No snow and an overcast sky.  It was cold but that helped motivate everyone to cooperate and get the shoot done!

While pictures were wrapping up I hurried and called in our large pizza order with the new pizza joint in town.  They were awesome!  We ordered a lot of food (we were feeding 27 people after all!) and it was ready in 30 minutes for under $100!  I couldn't believe it and thought they had rung us up wrong.  The food was great and all but one pizza got devoured! The kids went wild over the combo pizza, which sadly I had only ordered one because I figured they would want pepperoni, it hardly got touched, go figure.  We had a good long party and when it slowly died down and people went home, a few of us stayed and were entertained with Addi giving David, Alex and Grandpa Terry ballroom dance lessons.  It was a good day!

Today I was able to pick up our pictures and wow are they great!  We're all excited to start getting them printed off!  Here are a few of my favorites:
