Daddy's Helper

Tyke is the best little helper ever!  He loves to be in on the action of just about everything.  If I'm cooking, he's right at my feet whining until I pick him up so he can see what's going on.  I've finally learned that it's easier if I put him in either his high chair or  his walker and give him a measuring cup so he can supervise and help.

On Saturday we ventured to Home Depot (we sure spend a lot of time there lately...) and picked out a new kitchen faucet.  Ours had started to leak really bad plus it was old so we were more than happy to get a new one, although the timing could have been a little better considering it's Christmas season which equals spending lots of money.  When we got home Chad got right to work pulling out the old and putting in the new.  Tyke was his best little buddy and had to be right in the way!  It was cute!  I kept pulling him away and he kept going right back.  Tyke would crawl over Chad's legs to get to the tools, grab one and then look at his Daddy for instructions.  It was too cute!  Chad eventually got things put back together with the help of our little guy.

Tyke LOVES watching his Daddy and learning new things!  Chad is going to teach him so much!!  He's such a handy man and Tyke and I are grateful for that!  I'm so glad that Tyke and his Daddy are best buddies!!!
