Scones

Yesterday Grandma Cheryl and Aunt Tiffany brought the boys to Nephi for a lunch date.  They had Tyke, Luke and Bowdee.  Me and Aunt Stephanie met up with them at the One Man Band.  We enjoyed a good lunch.  Tyke and Bowdee got a little out of control.  Once one of them starts going wild the other one does and then they just feed off of each other and get pretty goofy.  Tyke helped me with my food by eating some fries, a small piece of chicken and the scone.  He was even kind enough to share that scone with Luke!  I was talking to Grandma Cheryl and noticed out of the corner of my eye that Tyke was leaning over Luke.  I got after him and he pulled up quickly, scone in hand, and exclaimed, "Ha! Ha! Mom!"  I looked at Luke and he was licking his lips like crazy with a big ol grin on his face.  I got after Tyke and he just repeated his "Ha! Ha! Mom!" while jumping up and down and shaking his head from side to side (little smart alec!) until I explained to him that Luke doesn't have teeth and can't eat scones.  The smile on his face immediately turned to concern and he said, "Oh, I dorry momma! I dorry momma!"  How can you stay upset with that? (I wasn't really that upset, I found the whole situation funny but I had to keep a straight face to teach him that this is a no no for now).  And so Luke had his first taste of real food yesterday courtesy of his big brother.  Thanks Tykie! =)
