How We Deal

Today while dressing Tyke I noticed that his new Easter shirt I had picked out for him to wear was a size newborn!  Seriously how did that happen?!  He's been out of newborn clothes for weeks now, silly Easter Bunny.  Anyway, I told Tyke he could wear it today and that it would probably be his last time.  Little did I know what was in store.  Surprisingly the shirt fit, a little snug, but it fit.

This afternoon, after Chad and I finished lunch, I picked Tyke up out of his chair to go and play with him.  I noticed that his side was wet and was curious why so I checked him.  Major blowout....out the front and up the side!  I wasn't quite sure how I was going to get his shirt off of him without making a huge mess because  1-it was a tricky blowout and 2-this shirt fit so snug.

I hollered at Chad that I needed help!  He came over to see what was wrong and about lost his lunch.  Chad freaks out at the sight of poo with our little Tyke.  I laughed and told him I needed help getting the shirt off and his solution was...SCISSORS!  I was only okay with it because of the fact that it was a $3 shirt and it was too small, oh yeah, and I didn't want to smear poo all over my baby.  Chad cut while I protected and in no time we had that messy shirt off and cleaned up Tyke.  It was quite the ordeal but we all survived =)
