Before eating dinner we went around the table and had everyone name three things they were thankful for. Tyke wanted it to be his turn so bad until it finally was and then he got really shy and wouldn't talk. He finally listed that he was thankful for "Paw Patrol" and "Ninja Turtle Power" haha.
Dinner was super yummy! We had the usual: turkey, ham (smoked on the T), sweet potatoes, potatoes and gravy, stuffing and rolls. Tyke pretty much refused to eat anything for dinner. He was too busy running circles around the table and showing off. Luke didn't eat as well as we thought he would but he definitely chowed down and had a good time. Little goofball thought it was funny to hold his cup with only his mouth and kept everyone entertained. What silly boys we have!
We took about an hour break after dinner to relax and visit and watch football. Then, it was pie time! We all dished up and enjoyed yummy pies (and my g-free dessert too). Luke loved it! He wasn't too sure about the whipped cream but the actual pie he loved. Tyke refused to eat any of it. Chad tried forcing him to try a slice and Tyke ended up with whipped cream smeared across his face and ear. Silly Tyke. He did however finally pick up something to eat...Ritz crackers. Luke walked around and made friends with whoever would share some pie with him. After finishing up the pies and cleaning up a bit it was time to go. We hurried and gathered all of the kids together for a picture (which didn't go so great, they were all in a grumpy mood) and called it a day. It was a great meal and was so fun to get together with everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving 2015!
