Bribery

We have been trying to come up with some sort of motivation for Tyke so that he will want to use the potty.  We finally bought him his much wanted Paw Patrol toy, "blue one!" aka Chase.  He's obsessed with that show and has told us for weeks now that he wants the blue one toy.  We bought it, showed it too him (boy did his little face light up with happiness) and then stuck it up on top of the cabinets in the kitchen and are using it as bribery.  We made a potty chart and let Tyke decorate it.  He thought that was pretty cool.  Then we showed him the stickers and explained to him what needed to be done in order to win that new blue toy.  He got excited and ran right to the bathroom and did his thing!  I hung his potty chart right next to the toilet and we gave him a sticker to place on it.  He thought that was the neatest thing!  Here's hoping that this will help somewhat.  You can do this Tyke, you've got it!
