We took the boys to the demolition derby. We've gone every year for the last six years (it was our first date way back in '09). Luke loved it and was all smiles. Tyke didn't share the enthusiasm. We failed and forgot ear plugs for him so he spent his time covering his ears and telling us, "I wanna doe home mom!" Poor guy. He did have fun sitting by his buddy Quade and watching the ninja turtles car (they are his current obsession). We left after the truck race, around 9;15 p.m., and went and grabbed a pizza and came home. It was a good night and we're glad we got to go!
