Hanging With Dad

I really wanted to go north shopping for last minutes items for Luke's birthday party next week.  Chad really wanted to go for a rhino ride and look for elk (he has a spike elk permit that starts next weekend).  We weren't sure what to do with the boys.  I knew I couldn't handle both on my own and feel like I was getting somewhat of a break and he knew he couldn't take them both for a ride.  So we compromised and split up.  Luke and I went shopping.  It was so nice just the two of us.  He got a couple of good naps in and was fun to shop with.  We had lunch at Culver's and he ate half a grilled cheese sandwich.  It was nice having some one on one time with my baby boy.  Chad and Tyke loaded up and headed to Sanpete county for a ride.  Unfortunately where they wanted to go was posted no trespassing so they came back this way and ultimately ended up out in Levan somewhere riding around.  They didn't see any elk but they had a great time riding, playing in the water, and even shot a chucker!  Tyke was timid at first but thought it was awesome to hold the dead bird once he got brave enough!  They had lunch at the hamburger joint in the gas station in Levan and then came home.  We all got home around the same time.  It worked out perfectly and I think it's safe to say that everyone had a great day!
