Handy Boy
I feel like our home is baby-proofed pretty well but Tyke always proves us wrong. Today we had to finally find a new home for the kitchen knife set. It's been parked on the counter top near the sink, way out of his reach. Well little guy, who is so handy with my step stool, helped himself to the kitchen scissors today. Grandma Cheryl bought Tyke a new little sand box set of toys that were bagged up in a mesh bag. Tyke grabbed his bag of toys, pushed the step stool over to the sink, reached into the butcher block of knives and grabbed the scissors. He cut open his bag, put the scissors back and went on his way. One-I didn't know he could reach them (I'm naive, I know), and two-I didn't know he could use scissors properly. I never notice just how much he watches and learns from us until he shows it. The knife set now reside in the spare pantry...until he figures that one out too! Nothing is safe in this house! =)
