Enjoying Spring

Today's weather couldn't have been more perfect!  We spent the entire afternoon outside enjoying the spring day.

Chuck (our "love fern") finally got transplanted to a new, larger pot.  We're still not sure if he'll pull threw but we're hoping so.

Tyke had fun playing with his new t-ball stand (courtesy of Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Terry).  He thinks it's the coolest thing ever!  The only problem is that he aims for the stand and not the ball.  We tried showing him the correct way and he would say, "No ma!" and hit the tee and giggle.  This kiddo of ours is going to be athletic I do believe.

Luke enjoyed the outdoors too.  He enjoyed it more when he was able to sit up.  It's going to be so nice for him (and us) when he can sit by himself.  He loves it!  He hates to be layed down.  I took him for a very short wagon ride and he wasn't too thrilled about it.  He tensed right up and had a look of fear on his face.  He's been like that lately with stroller rides and riding in shopping carts too.  Poor guy.  I finally strapped him into one of the make-shift seats in the wagon and he seemed to do pretty well with that.  I had to stuff his blanket in around him to help keep him stable.  I gave him one of the plastic baseballs to play with he.  He loved it and got excited...Tyke got jealous and kept trying to steal it.  These boys are going to keep us on our toes!

Chad and I took turns working in the yard.  One of us worked while the other entertained the kiddos, especially Luke.  Tyke helped me bust up some dirt and we planted a few flowers and plants and trimmed a couple of bushes.  He was such a big helper!  Chad got the garden tilled and most of the small flower beds done too.  It was just a good, relaxing, productive day!
