Green Beans

We're slowly easing into the whole baby food thing at our house.  Luke started out with a little bit of rice cereal in his bottles which led to really bad tummy aches.  We gave him a break for a few days before making him a small bowl of the actual cereal.  He gobbled it down but was too hungry to be patient with us and we ended up quitting after ten or so spoonfuls and giving him a bottle.  Again he got a tummy ache but not near as bad as it had been with the rice cereal bottles.  Last night we decided to move on to "yummier" foods and fed Mr. Lu some green beans.  He wasn't too sure about them at first but quickly caught on and loved them.  He was grabbing at the spoon and at Daddy's hands to get that food in his mouth quicker.  His little tongue works overtime and pushes out more than he takes in but we didn't have much of a mess from him and he only got one dob of green beans on his Daddy (which was much needed since it was St. Patty's Day and Chad had forgot to wear his green haha).  Luke seemed a little bit miserable around 10 p.m. or so but once we got some gas out he rested comfortably and slept through the night until 5 a.m.!  That's two nights in a row now of full nights rest!  We'll give him green beans again for the next couple of days and then move onto the next food!  Yay Luke!
