This afternoon we took a little drive over to Mt. Pleasant to visit Uncle Chris, Aunt Danielle and the kids. We had a yummy lunch of bbq steaks, pasta salad, baked potatoes and strawberry shortcake! Waylon and Autumn were so excited to see "Baby Tyke!" According to Danielle, he's all that they talk about. They had a swing ready and waiting for him and as soon as he woke up from his nap they made Chad take Tyke over to swing him.
We ended up visiting for quite a while. We try to make it over for visits a few times a year but it had been a while since we'd done so, so this was a well needed trip! Uncle Chris was more than happy to take our snoopy little Tyke around the yard and show him all the fun toys and animals. He got to see dogs and chickens and he got to swing, slide, check out a tractor, play in the sandbox and ride Waylon's old 4wheeler! I think it's safe to say Tyke liked the 4wheeler, I mean he actually got excited about it!!! Finally, a reaction to all the fun things in life. =)
Tyke is so lucky to have such great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that love him so much and are always so willing to play with him and love on him. Our little family is so blessed!
Oh how we love this little boy of ours!!!!!
