What's Been Going On

So it's been a day or two.  Things have been crazy around our place the last week or so.  We have been busy with work, sicknesses, hunting and everything in between.  Everyone is on the mend now.  The boys really got hit hard with whatever it is we caught.  They both dealt with stomach flu, pink eye and colds.

Luke still has a cough that nearly makes him vomit every time because he gets coughing so hard.  It doesn't seem to slow him down too much and he's in as much trouble as usual.  He's growing like a weed and we've noticed in just the last few days how heavy he has gotten.  We weighed him the other night and he weighs a whopping 32.8 pounds, meaning he has gained almost 3 pounds since his doctors visit a week ago!  The kid is solid.  Also, in just a few days he'll be celebrating his second birthday!  I still can't believe it!

Tyke is well again, just a slight runny nose.  He has been going to school and loving it!  He asks every day, "Do I doe to tool today mom?!"  and he gets a little sad when I tell him no.  It's so exciting to hear the things he's learning and doing and trying with Mrs. Josalyn at the Apple Academy!

Chad is still hunting for his desert bighorn sheep.  The hunt ends in November so he still has plenty of time.  He and Bampa Terry have been going down every Saturday they can to look so far.

I've been dealing with sick kids, extra work (working in the office and at home), ladies league volleyball, and I read a book between all of that (I can't remember the last time I read a book...)

It's crazy that September is over already but we're so looking forward to October!  We have big things happening this upcoming month.  Tyke has his first official field trip to a pumpkin patch in Springville (yes I will be going!),  Luke has a birthday, and Daddy's hunt will start to get exciting and hopefully end on a good note.  AndI'm planning on taking the boys to their first concert tomorrow night with Nanna (in of all places Mona) while Daddy will be hunting.  And, that's pretty much it for now!
