My baby sister Tiffany got married today to Mr. David Clark in the Manti Temple. It was such a great day and we're so happy for her.
Our morning started out a little hectic. Chad and I somehow got stuck with Addi and Trayson for an hour or so and then Brooke, Callie Jo and Kayslee ended up with us too. The Olsen's were kind enough to lend their suburban to us so we could drive all the little rugrats over to the temple. It felt like total chaos transporting that many kids and being 8+ months preggo. Also, we were going to travel over with my parents but after they made it to Nephi they realized they had forgotten Tiffany's bouquet so they had to run back to Mona.
I was so stressed that none of us were going to make it to the temple in time to see Tiff and David come out. I was seriously about in tears and so mad. But as luck would have it we made it, with time to spare, because Tiff and Dave were slow to come out. Thank goodness!
As soon as I spotted Rachelle I handed her keys to the suburban and told her the kids were now her problem. (Chad & I bummed a ride home with Heather Jo and Alex).
We did the traditional family pics in front of the temple and then worked our way back to Mona for the wedding dinner. Of course on the way home we had to stop at the Malt Shop for a little snack. I was starving, Jo was hungry and Sophie will eat anything. We ordered milkshakes, fries, a burger and a taco. The service was a little slow but well worth the wait. Sophie got super mad at Alex because he wouldn't let her have any fries (he thought they were ours). Jo got in trouble with Sophie because she took a sip of the eggnog shake, Sophie really didn't want to share. It was pretty funny.
We spent the rest of the day at the new Mona church. The company that Tiffany and David hired to decorate and cater did an awesome job. The reception was beautiful and the food was great. Chad & I had a great time sitting and visiting with family and friends. We're so happy for Tiffy and David and wish them a happy happy marriage! =)
